Yeah originally an anime and i think a manga before that, it definitely keeps that feel. It’s like watching a live-action anime but its so overwhelmingly over the top with the gore that even non-anime fans can enjoy it. Although as I said some elements are undeniably going to be lost on an american audience. It was actually one of my introductions to Japanese stories and it led to a life long love of that culture. And now I’m like an angry anime nerd, lol.

When she asked what the unseen thing was chasing Ash, my brother told her it was Taz. Everytime I see those scenes now, I can’t help but imagine that it IS Taz, grinding through trees and rocks, chasing Ash. lol Great video, by the way. I love it.

Imagine if you never met a human before and it screamed, you never heard a scream before. How much would that scare the shit out of you. I remember at the end of one of the body snatcher movies they point and scream at humans … that used to scare me.
