Well, an atheist usually doesn’t believe in any supernatural entity, not just God, though there are of course exceptions.

Anyway, if God happens to actually exist, I guess he/she/it wouldn’t be so ruthless as to condemn all atheists and believers of the “wrong” religions for an eternity of suffering just for not believing 😉

Just imagine: After trillions of years of suffering they wouldn’t even remember what they’d be punished for, and yet they’d still continue being punished for another bazillion years, for all infinity :-). That doesn’t make sense…
