I am just completly in loss of words as to why there’s not comments, nor listeners here.

But I tell you, you’re not alone. I felt completly the same about this film! It is one of my all time favorites actually. Now I am just waiting for that goddamn District 10! Come on Blomkamp haha.

But, well, as you said, it is a piece of art, and since I had heard it was good before going to the movies, a few days after the release, perhaps 2 I think, I did ask my father to see it with me. He wanted to see G.I. Joe instead, since he had played with them then he was younger (he is almos 53 now) but I had heard that film was quite awful… On the other hand, I had heard D9 was good, but there wasn’t THAT much talk about the film over here, even though it was kind of an alternative to Halo, which they didn’t want Neill Blomkamp to direct and produce after seeing his Landfall short films (only God knows why -_-)

I dig the mockumentary approach, mixed with an usual storyline! It is amazing, and it’s so well done. Funny how Blomkamp got inspired by District 6 Cape Town, isn’t it?

Well, after watching this film, I’ve always wanted to make my own mystic sci-fi mockumentary (perhaps if I wrote one, Cinemassacre, James, Kevin and you could make it into reality, or I could just come up with an idea, who knows? I am writer, so….)

I am about to wrap this review up: It was highly praised after being released here in Denmark, the most well known reviwers here gave regularly gave it 5-6 stars (the reate is 1-6). and one of the reviewers even praised it by saying “A new science fiction classic has been born” which I believe is true myself 🙂

That’s all. I wish to see a mystic sci-fi road trip kind of mockumentary from Cinemassacre soon haha 😀 Or a review of the independent Lunopolis, if possible? 🙂

Stay creative guys. And healthy. And keep on working hard and passionate.

Best, a loyal fan of you all,

– Lukas
