The 1978 original might be a classic but I found it mostly boring – it might’ve been something new in the ’70s, but I’ve first seen it only a couple of months ago and there wasn’t anything I haven’t seen before.

If I were to pick just one reason why I like the Rob Zombie versions better that the original it would be Michael unmasked. In the 1978 film he looks like a retard; in the RZ remakes he looks like an badass bearded hobo. Fuck yeah.
