Not likely. Lovecraft wrote the story in the early 20’s. James Herbert wasn’t even born until the 40’s, and Fred West did his killings in the ’60’s.

And this movie… i never could watch it full back then. So many nightmares…
In fact, after watching all the Monster Madness Specials i’m wondering why didn’t i turn up to be a horror movie fan after all this sick shit happening?
