He even works on films with the shit-stained rip-off movie studio The Asylum.

I found it believe it or not in the college library of all places. Heck, for the first 2-3 years I never knew the library had a movie section. Most of the movies they had were of no interest to me, but I dug through anyway and stumbled upon this. I can’t remember much about it, but it was cool to see a young Jack Nicholson in a black and white movie.

The movie itself wasn’t too bad, although yes, there were numerous plot twists that were inconsistent and extremely confusing, however, I absolutely love Jack Nicholson’s work, so seeing this film was sort of a treat in a way to see his earlier acting and I was well-pleased with his performance. It’s alright, and I think it’s surely worth checking out!

But I’m glad I’ve seen it. I own the french DVD (yep, I’m Swiss) which has the title “Le Château de la terreur” ( Castle of Terror), so it was quite a surprise when I discovered the movie was actually “The Terror” that I’ve had already heard of on Cinemassacre.
