That is to say they bought the rights to an existing movie and released it with Troma branded on it. They even released an Argento picture!

Troma itself has made only a handful of films, including the Toxic Avenger franchise and Mother’s Day (a collaboration between Lloyd and his brother). Stuff like Rabid Grannies and Redneck Zombies were picked up by Troma after the fact.
