You know it’s ironic that the charity is called “Autism Speaks” when I’ve been trying to find a way to get one of my autistic friends to stop talking so much. All he ever talks about is movies and TV.

Unfortuantly I don’t have money to spare to donate, but I compensate by hanging out with lots of disabled people. Helping the disabled, specifically the intellectually challenged, is a bit of a passion of mine, and I’ve realized that sometimes the best help you can give anybody is friendship. That and my ADHD makes it hard to go out and get a freaking education and make it a job. Also I got a big crush on this one disabled girl, but my disabled girlfriend(who I fight with constantly) is jealous.

Nice to see you reaching out James, and hats off to you too Mrs. Nerd.

I suffer from PDD myself, and have met many others on all sides of the spectrum. Some are non functioning, some like myself are very high functioning, but autism definitely comes in many colors. Needless to sa there are many misconceptions about the condition, and I’m glad to see good people supporting awareness.

I made a donation previously for $100.00 and I wanted to do a little more so I tried making other donations, but they seemed to not go toward the team for some reason?

I made two more donations, which totaled my summary of donations to $200.00. I’ll be able to forward you information / receipts for them in hopes that it would be able to be forwarded toward the team’s tally. I emailed the site to the best of my ability to see if they could somehow redirect the donations toward the team.

If you, or someone, could possibly get in touch with me somehow, I would really appreciate it. I hope that I could somehow get the donations your way and hopefully work something out with you guys so that it can get to the team.

@Tyron: I agree. But maybe it should be once a month with a new charity. Like next month should be Toys For Tots since Xmas is next month. Course the Food Drive for the people who go without really needs a lot of help. I just heard today that nearly 15% of America goes with out food. That’s scary.
