Maybe not a stand-alone glitch but let’s not forget the screechy music when you play Mega Man or Mega Man 2 only with the Game Genie. Shamefully, I used to think the regular music was weird as I used to, sigh, use the GG too much as a weak child.

Actually the stars-into-birds glitch can be activated by holding the A button alone, so he went to more trouble.

Okay… Mike’s got all his facts wrong.#1: Mega Man 7 is actually the most popular Mega Man game in the original series, so why the hell did he say ‘Not many people have played this one”?#2: THOSE ARE PENGUINS!!! They shoot lil gliding penguins. What sense does it make for a duck to shoot out mini penguins? IN a sorta-tundra-ish zone!?

Hey James and Mike; you guys seriously should do a Nerd episode that’s an homage to Mega Man. There is no doubt plenty to work with. My favorite Nerd episodes are the ones where you review great game series and just find little annoying things here and there, but for the most part break them down in a positive light. I.e., the Castlevania series, the Ninja Gaiden series, etc … . I can’t believe it’s been over 20 years since i got Mega Man 1 and 2 for like a dollar a piece at a thrift store (these were still new at the time too, go figure). Good luck on everything and keep up the outstanding work. You guys are honestly rare gems and a breath of fresh air.

hey mike, love the glitch dedication. not sure if you play alot of ps1, but i recommend studying castlevania sotn, because while many glitches have been exposed in that game, there are others that only i am aware of. for example, did you know it can be beaten without the form of bat? if you mess around with the mist enough you may see what i’m talking about!
