The interesting thing was that the Thundercats toys were just as awesome. It wasn’t like the Transformers, where most of their toys sucked. You know you had something with a Thundercats action figure. Great show though, reminds me of why I am a HUGE fan of Rankin and Bass. I own both this and the Silverhawks complete series on DVD.

Even in this day I’m still amazed by the animation quality on the series. The other Bass/Rankin shows like Silver Hawks and Tiger Sharks were awesome too. Thumbs up for the 80’s cartoons.

Yeah, I know, the movie was scrapped due to budgetary- yadda yadda what have you-reason, but hey… if you could do such a succesful movie-franchise from Transformers, you can do it from Thundercats aswell. That’s just common sense!!!!
