In reply to TheChristoph. Fps game developers have zero thought process into shitting out a new game EVERY november. Whats new? Look, new guns with more attachments! Slightly improved graphics! More repetitive zombies! Zombies? EVERYONE is obsessed with the zombie survival trend these days. They were simply using an overblown gimmick to drag in more audiences to pay sixty dollars for the same thing every year. I love fps games myself, but there is no sense defending them.

I’m thinking the reason reviewers said that the game is the same old thing is that Nintendo, just after the release of Twilight Princess, stated that that would be “the last Zelda game of its kind.”

After hearing that I expected a zelda mmorpg, or something.

Maybe the reviewers forgot Nintendo said that, though.

If you want an FPS that makes you use your brain Try the Quake Series, Unreal, Tribes, Counter-Strike.. ect, that takes some real brain power, alot more than this,(mainly quake imo) the fps games you mentioned are mainly used with controllers which limits you in so many ways… and really isn’t how fps games should be played but thats a whole other topic. but for mainly all console shooters i agree repetitive and not much brain power used at all.. Anyways!! I am definitely getting a Wii for this game Love Zelda series and your reviews Keep it up!

@MarcWarner I have to agree. I must be missing something? I tried like crazy to get into the Zelda games, Final Fantasy, etc.. and still want to, but I just lost interest, and put them down. I’d much rather play something like Resident Evil 4.

It’s like, I love Oysters, but they’re not for everyone.

I still wanna see what I’m missing in these games. They just kinda bore me. There must be something to it. ?

p.s. First person shooters can be fun, but they kinda piss me off too.

Thanks so much for this video, Mike! I just now got around to watching it because I wanted to beat the game first. I’ve gotta’ admit it was so much fun I played it practically nonstop, neglecting most of my other usual hobbies and interests!

You made a great argument against the critics of this game and Zelda in general, better than I could. Hell, it’s the argument I wanted to make that I didn’t even know I wanted to make! …If that makes any sense. I’m going to share this video and use your points when making my own when debates on Skyward Sword come up in the future! Again, thanks!

Your opinions about the games is the same as mine,people nowadays only search for games only with grafics,for example god of war 3 that i am a fan of that series was not had the epic ending and the size for a third games of the series that all we waiting for! So in other words i would prefer to have a wii and play zelda skyward shord that that game that i have disapointed a litle.
