I know Screwattack gets their cut, then James, then production cost. But it still feels overpriced. Like someone else said, you can buy in bulk and mass produce (dvd, case, label, insert) for less than $3 each.

A lot of people have the money and we appreciate the free entertainment James has provided us through the years (even though he does get paid well to make videos, remember that) but gratitude can only go so far when hard earned cash is concerned.

Maybe if there was more content than 2 shorts or if they were autographed it’d be worth it. And I know the old “no one is forcing you to buy it” is on everyone’s mind, but the point is I would like to have this in my collection. I am a fan and would like to support James. But the price simply doesn’t match the desire. We all love the NES, but would you pay $200 bucks for one at a yard sale? Why not sell 1000 dvds at $10 instead of 100 at $18?

You can sheer a sheep many times, but skin him only once…..

Anyone notice that the background music is from the 3DS eshop game “Mutant Mudds”? It’s a modern game that looks like it could have been released for the NES, and I was wondering if James knew about it. I guess this means that he does (or at least someone on his team does).

I love the sound of having those two movies on DVD, but I agree with what others have said about the price being high. I was fine with paying roughly that for Vol 1 because it was six films, so about $3 each which is more than fair given the amount and quality of extras.

But this is nearly $9 per film, which would reasonable if they were feature-length. My two cents is, if you want to support James, buy a shirt instead.
