If you had never played them, I think you should look into both games. Shadowrun had two completely different games on both systems. Both were good, but I find the Genesis version to be better.

But a few months ago I was watching some AGVN videos, and asked my cousin if he would return my SNES to me at a scheduled family reunion on July 4th weekend. He did. 75% of the games were missing, but that didn’t bother me. I had MY old SNES back, all yellow-stained and everything. Thankfully my girlfriend has some of the classic SNES games that I didn’t come back to me, like Mario World, Metroid 3, Zelda: A Link to the Past, and Super Castlevania 4. She even gave me Secret of Mana on my 31st birthday as a present(yeah, she rules). Now, this console sits between my Xbox 360 and my PS3. Nineteen years old, and it still holds up to the contemporaries. Thank you James for doing what you do.

Long life indeed, after 20 years my SNES still works fine, as I see XBox with RROD and overheathing PS3.
And thanks for this great video full of nostalgia. Secret of Mana is another example of great SNES game.

I remember being a hardcore SNES fan as a kid and defending it to the ground in debate with my friends who were Genesis fans. That commercial–I remember my own version of it, “Genesis sucks but Nintendon’t.” A Link to the Past and Final Fantasy III were also my favorite childhood video games, and I pumped quite a few hours into those worlds. My favorite video game moment of all time was the very end of A Link to the Past when the Dark World becomes the Golden Land again and the screen pans across the mountains, with the beautifully composed music and ending with Ganon’s Tower with the sun behind it and fading to black. To this day at age 31 my favorite scenic landscape is to see a golden sunset behind black, silhouetted mountains. I actually have some of the music on my computer and listen to it every once in awhile to reminisce of that simpler time. Thanks for making this video James, your angry videos are hilarious but I definitely enjoyed this one as well.

However, I will have to call foul on the backwards compatibility one as I don’t think an unlicensed device should be considered in the argument.
