I was hoping for a sequel to say what happened next after the last one! Movie does seem fun and the “most Frankenstien”, though, so there’s that! 😛

Lol, the movie does seem very disappointing, but like you said, the sets look great though

Either way, Robert Hopkins, I’m right…if, like you said, he should do things that interest him, and he chooses not to do Friday the 13th, then that means those films don’t interest him…

However, James’ reason for not doing them (would take up too much of the month) is incorrect and flawed…as he dedicated a 1/2 a month to Halloween and Nightmare on Elm Street sequels…

I like how Hammer changed up the setting each time to keep things interesting. It’s fun to see Frankenstein on the run and trying to sneak in his experiments where ever he’s hiding out.
The film does lack the trademark Hammer cleverness, but makes up to it with a nice homage to the old Universal Frankenstein tropes.
A big thing that keeps me from loving this film is that Frankenstein has too many whiny “why don’t they leave me alone!?” moments. Really? He can’t understand why? Has he lost touch with society that much? The other films in the Hammer series gives Frankenstein a much more interesting “Fu** society’s morals!” attitude.
