This is awesome! I absolutely loved this movie as a kid (I used to watch it on VHS with my grandpa) and now I can’t wait to get the new longer version and see what footage I was missing. Thanks for posting this!

Wow ! Great news, this too is one of my favourites and I was lucky to see it on the big screen back in the late 80’s.
It was at a cinema in Manchester in the UK as a one off for April Fools Day. Always loved it and like you said so many great scenes and characters.

This would be great if it wasn’t a fucking region 1 locked Criterion disc. Not a fan of paying $40 for a coaster.
