It is Ninja (Gy – Den) and Ryu is pronouce (Ru)…I live in Japan..trust me this is how you pronounce it…

oops, i mentioned one more platform after the machete man than was really there. You’ll get it yourself once you try to do it.

I tried to make a video but my computer is too slow and the result wasn’t really great. I can explain it well enough in words, and you all can try it for yourself. Basically you just come up the ladder and jump on the first platform, then the second one on the left edge right in front of the machete guy then immediately up and over him. Run right and then jump on to the next platform and keep running and jump on to the next one. This is the tricky one. You basically run to about halfway on this platform and then jump backwards and then cut back forwards again mid jump. In this movement, you will prompt the high eagle to appear and the hatchet throwing guy on the narrow platform to scroll off, and by cutting back, you will dodge the eagle. Then you jump on the small platform where the hatchet guy was. just walk off that onto the oil drum looking platform and jump on the ladder and go up right away. You must keep your speed going the whole time as much as possible. Try it yourself, you will see it all fall into place. The only challenging part is that tricky jump-back/cut-forward part.

It’s similar to the word ‘few’. You don’t pronounce it as FEE-oo, but as fj-OO.

Other words with this unstressed short [i] ‘ee’:

cute, mute, cue; or in British English: due, new, tube.

So say ‘cue’ and replace the c [k-sound] with an r and there you go!
