Many consider “The Ninth Configuration” (Both the book and film) to be the true sequel to “The Exorcist”. So the proper book trilogy would be “The Exorcist”, “The Ninth Configuration” and then “Legion (The Exorcist III)”.

Exorcist 3 is one of my favorite Halloween movies. The lady and I make a point to watch it every year on the spookiest night we can.

Blatty didn’t want his baby to go out with that trash sequel. 3 is a good movie and a worthy sequel and is the one you’ll see at walmart when looking for something to watch for 10 or 13 dollars.
