They’re human just like the rest of us and we all have traits that will piss someone else off so we can’t please everyone. I enjoy the nerd, MFer Mike, the Punk, and the Critic with respect for them for their personal opinions outside their characters as well. 😉

(He was having quite a few issues with almost every game!)

Watched what I could, slept, watched a little more, and they went 27 hours, maybe a little more, raising over $20,000! Just WOW, don’t know how they do it, but a HUGE congrats to both Pat & Ian!

Oh, the mini-avgn game review was “Adventure Island (NES)”, and it was quite hilarious. 🙂

A lot of popular internet reviewers come across as either being dickish or having severe flaws in their character. Angry Joe is a flip-flopper and a social panderer, NC injects way too much liberal guilt into his work, and Spoony is probably the most notoriously unpleasable and misguidedly arrogant to ever work for TGWTG. They’re still funny to watch and make good points in their reviews, and generally seem nice in person. It’s all relative, if someone’s getting criticised for being a bit snobbish then I’d say that person’s ok overall compared to the inhuman evil that exists the world over.

Besides, it’s for a good cause. You don’t have to contribute to it but criticising it just seems beyond cold.

On a Nerd-related note, I’d like to see another Re-Revisited episode down the line as there are still quite a few games reviewed that I stll think could have been shown in more depth, like showing us the ending to McKids and playing more of Silver Surfer.

Pat isn’t douchie, he just isn’t one of these guys that believes in this whole “in my opinion” nonsense. I appreciate that as some things just are… it has nothing to do with opinions.

The only problem is when he’s wrong it makes him come of as foolish. Like his stance on repro-carts, or Mortal Kombat.
