You have the game on easy. That is why the game reset. And you can set the magic to use all the of the blocks at the same time for more powerful magic. The female summons a fire-breathing dragon at full power.

Turtles in Time for the SNES, hands down! Just the fact that the arcade version omitted the technodrome stages as well as several canon characters like Rat King, Slash and Bebop & Rocksteady is just weird.. I remember like instead of Slash, you fought some pile of poo in the prehistoric age.. O.o …

Turtles in time in snes was way better than the arcade with some speed more and a couple of graphics here and there and the voices in bosses.The voices were eating allot of space in a cartridge so they left that out.The music on snes and the entire game was way cooler than the arcade,you don’t believe me double play it if you have forget it and stop remember what you want to remember only for once.

@John Arce: Yeah, kinda. Although it was funny, It’s a bit like they wouldn’t comprehend how to use the ‘random shit knife’ in Super Ghoul n Ghost. They ditch it as being the worst weapon when it’s actually one of the best lol

Golden Axe was one of the main reasons I pestered my parents into buying me a Genesis. Shame the Genesis version was not as good as the arcade. This one looks tough, never played it.

I remember renting the Golden Axe games all the time and enjoying the heck out of them. According to some other folks here, you can hold down the button for stronger magic, and you can’t beat the whole game on easy mode. It just stops after a certain point.

A lot of the times you can fix buttons that don’t work by taking the controller apart and gently cleaning the contacts on the circuit board with a pencil eraser. I did this many times when I was a kid.
