Kills regular Foot soldiers in one hit, what more could you ask for? Hits other enemies too when you sling them over your shoulder. It’s better any move in the previous game.

Another, quite an essential thing you managed to neglect is the A+B “one-hit wonder” that drains your lifebar, something you referred to as pointless. It maybe the cleverest piece of programming in the entire game! If you’re on your last knob of health, the move doesn’t take it away. In other words, so long as you don’t get killed, you can do some serious massacre. I had an OUTSTANDING run just the other day, hanging on to my last bit of health mowing down enemies in the Technodrome like a champ. It’s a last resort. If it was to be used constantly, then it would be pointless.

That’s my two cents. Sorry for the rant.

We had an NES until the N64 came out. We popped this fucker in any day and beat it from start to finish. I have a couple suggestions for games you guys could play that I had in my NES library as a kid that I haven’t see around the site yet. Maybe Desert Commander or Snow Brothers could be used in some form. Anyway, keep up the great work!

At least Jon isn’t constantly screaming for attention in a girly voice. “Look at me guys! look at me, you’re looking right? I’m still funny right?”
Maybe he’s just too loud and hyper for my taste.

In that regard, the special moves are feasible when there are like a billion enemies on the screen and for the price of a bit of health you can take out the entire screen with less damage being inflicted on you than if you would’ve tried to fight off everyone in normal close combat. Its mostly a guessing game as to when and where its acceptable to use it, but obviously, its not to be used often.

He’s the classic example of someone trying way too hard to be funny. He’s the kind of person who in a group of people will just never shut up, to the point it just feels awkward… He’s probably really nice but I’d rather just see James and Mike play without him.

Having stopped watching Nostalgia Critic and his other videos about two years ago, I’d completely forgotten how quick he can be on his feet. Brings a different type of humor to it, too.
Hate on him all you want, you’re allowed, but I don’t mind his presence. Variation is always refreshing.
