Neo Geo CD is known to reset when there are jerks in the controller port, since you guys had such limited length, that is probably why it reset on you

There is the Sygma Supergun where you can play the all the jamma arcade games and its definitely not the same experience as if you play arcade games on recent platform.. plus u need to have a 29inch CRT screen to exactly reproduce the best quality of arcade gaming which is priceless. It’s some kind of investment but nothing bets it. I would never play arcade games other way than the real deal.

actually u can do double jumps, when ur opponent is down and dizzy, u can press down-up on the d-pad + any attack button, to launch an attack that hits your opponent on the ground. Its a pitty the characters have thah little health bar, with a few consecutive hits u get dizzy and a combo of 4-5 hits u are done for, but in general its a good fighting game, or at least, 1000 times better that the crappy movie form the 90`s.
