Plus the version we got didn’t have the controllers hardwired to the console, so you could just go and buy another one, plug it in and be good to go

Off topic but I just picked up the retron 5 and it is awesome. Although I still feel it could use some improvements. I’ve heard that there is a mod were you can load emulator roms directly to the retron 5 system, rather than using the cartridges.

It’s not modded. And TRE SELOR is wrong. America DID get the AV Top Loader, but only briefly and Nintendo cut the cost of production by quickly removing the AV Jacks.

Blows the standard RCA cables (A/V) out of the water. It can technically match HDMI cables for audio/video quality.
