Also, I felt we didn’t get closure to the John-situation, will he be born now? And who is that new Skynet-projection in the post-credits teaser?

My buddy did the same and we enjoyed the film.

I felt that there’s too much thrown in. Like, T1 and T2 are movies with simple and straightforward plots that can be resumed in a single sentence, and that makes them great.

This one is messier though, kinda twists things so much that it’s almost got a slight comedic value. Why? Were they afraid of getting people bored as they know the story of the other films? Does the movie need to boost its interest by adding crazy twists?

It’s also interesting how much the tone has changed, as Genisys is without a doubt the least dark of the 5. It’s weird. But the thing is that it’s actually a pretty fun movie.

I’m surprised you never reviewed the original trilogy with Mel Gibson. All of those movies were classics and right on par with Terminator, Blade Runner, the original RoboCop, etc.

That would be great!
