Hi guys, You can record a DS game on screen by playing the wii U virtual console…It works great and you can see both screen of the DS on the TV. The only problem is that you have to buy downloadable version of the games via the E shop.

This would probably be a better experience on the GameBoy Player, since it plays, GB, GBC, and GBA games. It adds a bit of color to GB games too, I think. Fun video!

You guys talked about games you never got to play. You never had many Game Boy games? Well, I never had any Nintendo systems until Gamecube! So, I’m catching up on lots of stuff I never got to play back then. Loved the conversation and the gameplay here.

Link’s Awakening and the 2 Oracle games on Gameboy Color (Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages) are all REALLY FUCKING good. Some of the best classic Zelda games ever made. If you love Link to the Past, you’ll fucking love Link’s Awakening (do the DX version, it’s better) and Oracle of Seasons/Oracle of Ages.

Also, Protip: Spread gun in Operation C is worthless compared to Homing.

I can’t believe I forgot to mention this one.

If you can track down a copy, I think you should look at doing a review of Kid Dracula for the Gameboy. It’s a spin-off of Castlevania with a kid-friendly theme. You actually play as Dracula and fight against Garamoth (Galamoth from Symphony of the Night.) Even Death makes a cameo appearance.

It doesn’t play anything like a Castlevania game, but I’d be curious to hear what you and Mike think about how it fits into the Castlevania series, if at all. 🙂

Man, I totally forgot! Was going to write a post to Mike on this, but it slipped my mind. Seems like you and I are the only ones that noticed! 🙂

Speaking of which- Mike, the reason why you got the code wrong is because you added select and then start. Because it’s only one player, you just press start at the end of the code.
