I gotta disagree. If anything, I almost feel they give this movie too much credit. I’ll admit that it maintained an eerie atmosphere but that’s about all it did. The plot was better conceived in the original Ringu although the western release was more pleasing asthetically. All it all though, I found the film entirely forgettable.

Can only agree with mike and james on this one. Its not a bad movie but after hearing and seing the hype for it you just felt dissapointed after seing it. id give it 5/10 persnonally.

This movie kind of is the definition of overhyped for me.

I agree with this. The Ring was easily the scariest movie I had seen until then, and in fact it’s probably the only actually scary movie I had seen by then, as traditional Western horror never did it for me.

I remember sitting in the theater and this girl next to me was absolutely freaking out for almost the whole duration of the movie. She couldn’t stop swearing to herself and I thought she might faint at any moment. 😀

Wanted to give you feedback if others feel similar. Love the rest of Monster madness!

You are speaking my words man. I totally agree with you.
James, please, if you ever read those comments, do less videos and make them be better again! Nobody will be angry if you do less videos!
