I mean, for the 1950’s ( pre-“splatter” era ) THAT’s actually fairly graphic – more than allot of movies would show during THAT time period. And no, it isn’t so poorly done. You couldn’t tell it was “chockolate” syrup in a BLACK AND WHITE movie like this.

Agreed. They should definitely improve on their unscripted talents. I don’t understand why they move away from the obvious talent they have! Film-making…
And they ARE moving away!

The mask does not extend down enough. This is a classic error in Ed Wood movies. I have to wonder if people wouldn’t give this movie more credit as a “so bad it’s good” film if Ed Wood had directed it.

Me too. The Ring one was fine, but I feel like they should search up at least some juicy info on a movie before doing it ‘unscripted’ in front of the camera. There was too much ‘uummm’ ‘yeaah’.

i prefer the scripted format as well and also agree that trying something new is never bad. i think james just needs to get more comfortable with it because it seems hes nervous about saying something he will regret. like me, james has such passion in making things exactly the way he sees it in his head and doing that on the spot is hard to do without practice. he goes back and revises everything he writes 10 times until it is good enough to be used. but sometimes just talking from the heart and not from the brain is just as, if not more, effective.
