I’d like to hear your thoughts on Mary Shelly’s Frankenstein. Kenneth Branagh’s interpretation of the novel is considered by many critics to be the most faithful to the original text, but do you think it was an effective effort?

This certainly looks interesting, and the practical effects look cool. I’ll have to check it out.

A guy my mom was dating showed me this flick. Oddly I found the sky-gina to be the most memorable thing about it. XD

Oh man, is that 90’s Mary Shelly’s Frankenstein rough. It’s admittedly true to the original source material and Robert DeNiro is great in the role, but the movie itself isn’t great. And Frankenhooker is hilarious.

Can’t wait for next year, these videos are a great yearly tradition.

It’s one of his only two or three times being an actor, and this was at the height of his popularity, coming off the success of album Kick (6 million albums sold in the US alone) and going into the excellent album X released that same year in 1990.
