Why not do an epic 7-10 part with a classic RPG like final fantasy or even something like Ocarina of time (not a true rpg) but something that requires some time and investment from everyone. You could even include comments for hints and tips and so on. Just a thought

Any Chance you guys are going to play “Legendary Wings” or “Gauntlet” for NES? Wings was a game i played all the time growing up, and Guantlet (2 at least) was one of the few four-score games, and damn if it wasnt’ fun…and frusterating. Be cool to share this w/u guys.

James/Mike/Bootsy, in case you didn’t know, this game very likely exists, at least in part, thanks to James’ Action 52 review. When the popularity of Action 52 increased thanks to the exposure people started remaking the individual games but trying to make them more fleshed out, and more importantly, good. ‘Streemerz’ was a shit ‘game’ in Action 52 and this is the remake of it. It’s part of the “Action 53” collection of remakes, hence the naming.

Also, this isn’t a mod of Bionic Commando. A mod MODifies another games code to create something new. Most mods are stupid little changes but you’ve covered some of the more complex ones where people actually knew how to modify the code itself and not just the graphics and stuff.

This, however, is homebrew like Battle Kid. Most homebrew is simple since they start from scratch and learning how to code an NES game from scratch these days is not a talent most people have, or is even really in demand. So, the fact that something this fleshed out that was coded from scratch was made should give you a little more respect for the developer. There is NO Bionic Commando code in the game at all. It obviously has been inspired by Bionic Commando but that’s likely just because the coders of Action 52 were obviously inspired by it as well when they made Streemerz and, how do you make Streemerz not suck? Well, make it more like Bionic Commando, a great game! =)
