Some of the responses to this review is just laughable to me. especially patton oswalt’s twitter comment about cinemassacre. I’ve read it and it doesn’t even make sense to me. but pretty much lost respect for him. its ok for him to make jokes about going back in time to kill George lucas to stop him making the new star wars movies. but a well thought opinion of why someone wont watch a movie for the cash grab it is isn’t ok. and that is what this movie is: a chance to make more money on a franchise on just the name alone. also if the original was an all female cast and the remake had an all male cast the feminists would have a fucking stroke.

The only reason why James Rolfe refuses to review this movie is because he’s a sick perverted lil man boy who even doesn’t have good review shows. I mean look at it he excretes bowels on games he calls a load of crap that in itself is saying this man desperately is in need of a life. If you just have a show where you rent games just to shit on them, and then he posts this “review” that says he refuses to because it’s no good I mean come on! There is such a thing as living a life, if you’re one of these people like Trump who doesn’t like how others live their lives stay silent don’t go on YouTube ranting about I hate everything about how others have fun because my mommy and daddy never let me so now it’s society’s fault!

Wow! You wanted to see the original cast but did you not notice that the original movie poster in your film is missing Ernie Hudson?! How can you diss on a movie you never saw, while reminiscing about a movie that has clearly been manipulated to represent a false version of what it is you think was so great. If your job is to review movies, then just suck it up and go watch the damn film! Let us then decide whether or not your review of the movie is accurate. But please don’t patronize the original Ghostbusters when it clearly had its own issues, as evidenced by removing Ernie Hudson from the movie poster.

The original cast all had cameos and had fun with it, even Harold Ramis was represented. The original was beloved but not sacrosanct . Great cast, It was good fun then and good fun now.

Great movie. saw it, will see again. It’s fun. It’s not reality it’s a movie. Enjoy it for that. Great characters, great special effects. Is it the greatest movie ever? Does it top the originals?
NO and NO. Nothing could! Is it a good time in a time with all the terror and violence around us to have a well deserved laugh? YES! Does it ride on the shirt tails of the original? sure, but who cares….original actors have cameo’s in it and thats fun as well.
Go in with an open mind and enjoy it. Have a laugh! The new characters are great and effects very good, especially in 3D.
Don’t listen to these bums who think into it too much. It’s a movie. Enjoy it for that.
