thank you so much for doing this for a tenth time. i grew up on your videos, i was only fifteen when AVGN started…. time really does fly.

I’ve fallen out of Monster Madness the last few years and it’s been such a pleasure catching up with actual years worth of videos. I’m excited to see what you do in October in the future, but sad to hear about the end of the marathons. I would have loved to see another sequel-thon covering Friday the 13th or Hell Raiser, but I digress. Thank you so much for educating me on so many great movies I would never have discovered by myself and never had the time or knowledge to fully appreciate. I truly believe this project is one of the most inspiring labors of love I’ve found on the internet, and I really hope some day I can put something like this out into the world.

I’d like to hope that Monster Madness lives on in one form or another. I’ve looked forward to this every year sense 2009 and tbh the month of Oct is the only month I consistently scour this channel for content. I like James as a person from what little I know of him but Monster Madness is the reason I watch his videos and is my most anticipated past time of the year in terms of watching content online. If Monster Madness were to die out I’d loose a big part of what makes my favorite holiday so great.

I think you can revisit The Blob from the 80’s. It is really pretty wild and I think you can do a better review. The Stuff too oh man that movie was wacky.

In reply to Murdock129. I think he would be flattered. In fact someone did do something similar. Lewis Lovhaug aka Linkara from Channel Awesome began doing his horror comic review marathon "Longbox of the Damned," and he even cited James and Monster Madness as a major inspiration for the series.
