If you like the Zeldesque style gameplay you should try Majin and the forsaken Kingdom. That game has it all, the bosses, especially, could be part of any Zelda game to date. Beware, the game starts slowly, wait to be 3 hours in to properly appreciate it.

In reply to Eugene Smedlund. Yeah, that's true. In fact he might die any day, which is why he put everything into making the game, in order to make a statement before he might die. He wanted people to see his art, but knew he might not have enough time. It's also why his company is named Heart Machine.

This is just a repost of my comment on the YouTube version of the video:
I highly disagree with this not being a storytelling game. There is a larger story, which you can fighte out if you pay close attention. For example, you find monoliths with text on them written in an alien language. You can decipher this text and figure out much of the story, but it will still be very vague ans subtle. Things like these monoliths, as well as the different outfits, may also give a lot of replay value. There are even clues in the game that reveals the nature of the blue people of which the Drifter is part of, and why people seem to hate them. Remember the little blue drunk guy you meet in the town who got beaten up?

I don’t want to spoil the hidden story, but a lot of people have already done so online. And the story is still being interpreted by some people.

Check the VICE: hyper light drifter documentary ….. The creator poured his heart and soul into this game literally …. It’s his outlet for his life long illness some kinda heart defect
