I did think the Medusa scene in the new one was kind of cool, but the rest was trash. If you want a good recent movie about Greek mythology watch the Immortals. The Immortals is what the clash remake should have been. I would rather would reccomend Gods of Egypt over the Clash remake. I have no interest in seeing wrath of the titans.

The comic book store is called Atlantis Fantasy World. That’s were I would go to get my comic books. The location in the movie is at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk, but it had to relocate after the massive Loma Prieta earthquake in 1989. If you’re ever in Santa Cruz, stop by Atlantis and say hi to Joe. He’s been the owner of the store since the ’70’s, and he’s a super friendly, very knowledge, all around good guy.

At least, not for me. It’s good for a Saturday night movie night with your friends, but that’s about it.

Hope to see a Near Dark review, I still think it’s an underrated but quite remarkable vamp flick.
