Was never a big fan of this movie, but I loved it when the TV show Cold Case did a Rocky Horror episode, with the characters in the flashbacks playing characters from the movie and all the background music being songs from Rocky Horror. They even got Barry Bostwick himself to play the serial killer that the cops are trying to keep behind bars, so he doesn’t kill anymore people. Highly recommended episode for any fans of this movie. Still love the review though and love Tim Curry and Bostwick in most of the stuff I’ve seen them in.

Phaantom of the paradise is GREAT.
It screams Brian DePalma in every scene.
This on the other hand is trash… I’m guessing the same people who enjoy doing the whole scripted shit are the ones enjoying flash-mobs and shit like that… To each its own.

I agree. It’s undeniable that the movie is a cult phenomena. But the FACT is that it’s a piece of shit. All over the place, boring and painfully dated.
People can dance and dress up all they want but it doesn’t change the fact that it’s crap. I don’t even understand why you made it part of your series to be honest… It doesn’t belong… oh wait… WTF Wednesdays. OK. It kinda does then.
