It war a radical retelling of the story or better, a sequel to it.
It’s strange and has a weak story, but I really appreciated the monsters parade.
Of all the modern frankenstein’s movies is the one that I appreciated most.

McAvoy, usually a good actor, is annoying as hell. It’s all forgettable but the main monster at the end, it looks awesome! And they just use it for a dumb battle, you barely can take a good look at it and then they just kill it.

I just saw The Bride tonight. I thought it was interesting. It’s basically two movies in one: a dark Gothic romance between Dr. Frankenstein and his female creation, juxtaposed with the humorous adventures of the rejected Monster and his dwarfish friend. It’s pretty entertaining, but it felt too long in my opinion.

Ito’s art is always detailed when it comes to gore.

I don’t use a VPN. All those sites you mentioned aren’t blocked for me. It must be your ISP.
I’ve managed to stay off of social media this whole time, but I think I have an Instagram I never use… Anyhoo, I’ve followed you, so I’ll wait to hear back.

I loved how they got the stage make-up on the circus performers, which was a big call-back to the Silent era! And that was a huge shock to me that the hunchback was just a cyst! I found myself loving this film but I love the Frankenstein films of the 30’s

I can’t remember a film where the lead character is a self-professed atheist. As an atheist myself, that was very welcoming and refreshing. Being able to say you’re an atheist without being shunned is the next step in societal acceptance. The latest taboo to be accepted was homosexuality.

And as an atheist, my number one desire is to beat death. Victor was very much like me in this film.
