It might not be the most complex plot of the world but it is far more complex than your average horror movie and there is much more to it than just gore. Also, tell me how many franchises have a story line that develops throughout as many as SEVEN movies? Most movies are one film-deal and the rest go up to 4 movies maximum.

Its okay if you like the series, but I wouldn’t pretend there was anything remotely complex about these movies except for the neat little twist in Saw 1.

Every movie sense then had gotten worse and worse. Eventually, nothing makes any sense (like how did someone set up a human aquarium with 3 bodies and a giant machine in a busy downtown district). I respect only that they made sure a Saw film was showing every Halloween.

I’m sorry if I sound like a prude, but those movies are complete and total garbage. Saw 1 was the only enjoyable movie, and only because of the twist ending. Everything else amounted to “Gorn” (portmanteau of Gore and Porn).
It’s on the same level as the Human Centipede movies.

These movies are devoid of any poignancy and exist only to push the envelope and gross out audiences with ever increasing levels of violence and depictions of torture and mutilations.

Sorry dude.
