My wife didn’t notice that Peter Cushing was CG until I told her.. Maybe because she wasn’t familiar with him from before.

Sitting over here scratching my head on Mike’s disappointment. Hes from my generation, I believe, so how was Rogue 1 underwhelming? Yes, I cant remember the characters names either, but honestly, is there any one park from The Force Awakens that anyone would rewind over to watch again? Rogue 1 has an entire 30 min.

Is it an actor who plays Great Moff Tarkin, who looks like Peter Cushing?

The problem is not like it doesn’t look real, the problem is mainly that it doesn’t act like Cushing at all. Peter was waaaaaay more subtle.

The movie was good. Ok. It was good. Its a companion story to the original trilogy. I thought it meshed up fairly well. The characters weren’t memorable but that’s okay because they weren’t meant to survive. Why nit pick every single thing about this movie? It is what it is and taking it too seriously is just not what they had intended.
