I hope James reviews King Kong 76 and King Kong Lives after watching them with an open mind which means forgetting completely about the original and taking them as they are: DRAMA films with a more serious and darker tone rather than cheesy adventure films.

Looking forward to these. Have you considered doing a review of THE LOST WORLD from 1925? I consider that basically a King Kong prequel as it has O’Brien effects and the same basic plot as Kong. Some great stop-motion dinosaur action in that one!!

Note the sentence: “I will be reviewing all the King Kong movies.” The word “all” is used.

Loved the original as a kid and still do. Will you ever review the 1976 King Kong? Not really a remake but more of a reimagination of the original. Great neverteless, the continuation not so much.

Nice though. It’s been a while since a non-monster madness marathon.
