James, I’m surprised you didn’t mention anything about the boss screams in this metroid. They’re all Kaiju movies sound that were sampled. Godzilla and Gamera as far as I know.

It’ll only do that if you gave it a good beating. I remember Metroid II and Super scaring me as a kid, they left quite an impression. I remember other kids that thought Metroid sucked the moment they’d learn Samus was female haha…
Metroid II is superb, Fusion is wonderful, Mzm is magnificent and Metroid: Other M had lot of cheese, but it was a really nice game. Truly underappreciated.
The upcoming Samus’s Return, I can only hope they don’t screw it up.
