The whole powerbomb fight with Ridley was unnecessary lol.. It just needed to grab you so it can die while holding you. It’s scripted like that. Also, I recommend that you never use the last save station in Tourian as you’ll be stuck there– no going back exploring. And you didn’t save your friends before escaping 🙁

If I remember correctly, shoot once so they block, jump over them, then let them somersault and THEN they will do the Captain Falcon kick.
