So if you get the A when it’s red it goes into special, and yellow it goes into Extra. Hearts have to be blue. Should check out the Coleco version of Lady Bug, so much better.

None of the items you pick up are actually used in any way, they are only for points. And there are only four levels, after which it takes you back to level 1. The difficulty does not seem to increase much in subsequent playthroughs (at least not in my experience). Nothing special here.
