Board James – a fan’s analysis

James / May 29th, 2015

Following the Board James: Lie Detector episode, I was sent this analysis by Azure Aragami. I am glad that the videos are encouraging creative thinking. I am offering no hard answers at this point. I’d rather keep dropping small pieces of the puzzle to get everyone talking. I’m not saying whether this is correct or not, but here is what he has to say.

——————-

“I’m going to state the time code and relate what happened to back up the theory that Board James is the killer, he has multiple personality disorder and so, he constantly hallucinates things and remembers them in a way thats more suitable for him.

Mr Bucket Video
5:50 – We start here, the hallucination is of James throwing Mr. Bucket (by pushing it), as we see that in reality he left it where he was sitting.

10:10 – Mike enters the room with a confused expression on his face, as if hearing something weird, but, if he were capable of listening what Mr. Bucket is saying “suck on your balls”, he would not have this expression nor would he walk slowly to the place whereJames is, where, at 10:50 we can see Mike jump surprised after watching James(meanwhile James is hallucinating the struggle).

10:20 – Inside of the hallucination we see James show no regard for Mike and literally telling Mr. Bucket (aka the killer inside of him) to attack Mike instead of him, by 10:30 his expression changes to one more aggressive, at this point the hallucination shows how Mr. Bucket attacked Mike and James confronted it and drowned it, while in reality James started drowning Mr. Bucket since approximately the moment when Mike entered the room and what Mike was actually hearing was the sound of James “drowning” Mr.Bucket and here is where the lie detector video continues on 3:45 with what really happened at10:20 outside of the hallucination.

Dream Phone.
7:47 – The cut here is where James starts to hallucinate, he thinks that he was in bed waiting for Bootsie for a relatively long time, instead, he killed bootsie and went to bed where his personality “switched”.

8:57 – James gives no fucks to the death of his friend, true, he was not that close to Bootsie as seen on other videos where he and Mike get annoyed by him, but nevertheless, he is his friend, as stated when he claims that Bootsie and Mike are the most chaotic group of friends he ever had, so logically, if things were okay on his mind, James would be reacting to the death of his friend.

10:20 – The way Mike reacts, if we were to assume that Mr. Buckets video showed “reality” theres no way Mike would be ANNOYED by what he thinks James is telling him, instead, if what actually happened during that video was “Mike entered BJs house and saw him violently drowning a toy” then it would make sense for Mike to be annoyed to have to deal with another weird mental episode of James.

10:50 – At first Mike overreacts to the dead body, but, (hallucination begins again) suddenly his reaction literally becomes the same that James had, and after that he gets killed.

11:25 – Again, same as 5:50 of Mr. Bucket, here the Dream Phone conveniently appears where BJ is, remember, he left it when he was calling Bootsie, and no, this is not an error on the original video, BJ takes the phone and kills Bootsie/Mike (I’m not sure if he went for the Dream Phone before or after killing Bootsie as he hallucinated at both times), so that he can “get a call from the killer” (aka the killer inside of him).

14:20 – As BJ is “fighting with Mr. Bucket” we hear clearly how James is actually laughing while his mouth is “wide open”, clearly BJ is hallucinating while in reality “his other self” is enjoying, laughing, after having killed his friends.

15:45 – Again, James looks happy after killing “the Dream Phone” (his friends), this implies that James moved a little around the house from 14:20 to 15:45 while happy over the death of his friends, taking the weapon of murder with him and leaving the “killer” (Dream Phone) “dead” behind, after this James becomes violent right at the end of the video.

Just 2 questions left:

Motivation: You answered this one on this video, Mike and Bootsie are a wreck, Mike is always cheating and Bootsie is always fucking things up, you can never play a game the way it is supposed to be played, that pisses you off, that makes you hate them, and react violently, as seen on the Shark Attack Video.

Trigger: This one is what I am 50% sure about, what triggered the hallucinations on these 2 videos that did not trigger them on the other ones, heres my take on this, these 2 times where the only 2 times when you were playing a game that was said to be “inappropriate”, Mr. Bucket because of the sexual innuendos, and Dream Phone as stated by Mike, because it is a “girly game” (which has nothing inappropriate in reality but remember,James didn’t even want the game when Bootsie wanted to give it to him, so BJ clearly thinks the game is not appropriate on the videos), on the other videos the games were just weird or plain cool, and on the one with the dog shit, James and Mike laughed it up, they never stated something wrong with the game, unlike they did with Dream Phone or Mr. Bucket, this is your motivation, this is what causes Board James to become violent, start switching “his 2 selfs” and hallucinate.

Here is how it works, when Board James plays a game that he considers inappropriate, he unconsciously starts to “switch” rarely (not enough for James to notice any strange occurrence or inconsistency), at this point the “assassin” inside of him is fully active and starts taking decisions, and, before killing, his “routine” makes him WATCH A HORROR MOVIE (he never watches horror movies on the other videos), after watching at least a part of a horror movie he starts the hallucinations, the Dream Phone called during after a horror movie, Mr. Bucket also came during a horror movie.
Thats when it starts and Board James actively switches more than he was doing before (and thus he is capable of noticing how things change radically from this point onward during the time he is “being attacked”), to the point of everything explained thus far.

Thats it, I may be wrong BUT I am fully confident on this, Board James was the killer and when he started to get bored of playing alone games that required his dead friends, he started to feel guilty on an unconscious level and confessed to himself on a conscious level so that he could confront the facts.”
